Privacy Policy

The rule we run by: we do not collect more information about a kid than we need to build them a decent plan. If we don't need it, we don't ask.
Who uses the site
Adults. Parents, guardians, teachers, RBTs. Kids don't create accounts. Kids don't type anything in. A grown-up is always in front of the screen.
What we hold about the grown-up
Name, email, whatever you gave us to make an account or write to us. If you emailed us, we have the email. That's it.
What we hold about the kid
Whatever the adult typed into the profile. In practice this is a nickname, an approximate age, a grade level, an educational support level, and sometimes sex. Also the answers the kid gave on assessments, and how they've done on practice, because that is how we build the next round.
What we don't hold
Legal name. Home address. Phone. Exact date of birth. Photograph. Social Security number. School ID. We don't ask. If a grown-up types it in anyway, we don't have a place to put it.
What we do with any of this
Build assessments. Build practice. Show progress to the grown-up. That is the entire list. We do not use this information for advertising and we do not sell it.
How long we keep it
As long as the kid's plan is active. Ask us to delete a profile, and we delete it. When an account closes, associated data goes away within a reasonable window, unless a law says we have to hold it.
Third parties
We use ordinary infrastructure: hosting, email delivery, sometimes analytics. Those providers only see what they need to do their job. If we use AI to help draft materials, we strip identifying kid information first. The list of not-collected items above is what does not get sent out.
Your rights
Ask to see what we have. Ask to fix it. Ask to delete it. Email [email protected]. We may need to check that you're the adult who manages a given profile.
